一 |     संवाद सहयोगी, कटिहार। Bihar News कटिहार के सदर अस्पताल में एक गर्भवती महिला की दर्दनाक मौत ने स्वास्थ्य व्यवस्था की लापरवाही को उजागर किया है। लप्पी देवी को प्रसव के लिए अस्पताल लाया गया था, लेकिन चिकित्सकों की अनुपस्थिति के कारण उसे समय पर चिकित्सा नहीं मिल सकी। दर्द से तड़पती महिला और उसकी दो वर्षीया बेटी की करुण पुकार सुनने वाला कोई नहीं था। अंततः, महिला और उसके गर्भस्थ शिशु की मौत हो गई।,स्वजन का कहना है कि अस्पताल में दो घंटे तक महिला को प्रसव के लिए इंतजार कराया गया, जबकि चिकित्सक और नर्स मौजूद नहीं थे। अस्पताल के कर्मियों ने बेड खाली न होने का बहाना बनाया और समय पर उपचार नहीं किया। लप्पी देवी की सास ललिता देवी ने बताया कि उनकी बहू को समय पर प्रसव नहीं कराया गया, जिससे उसकी जान चली गई। स्वजन ने आरोप लगाया कि अस्पताल के कर्मियों ने 2500 रुपये की मांग की थी, जिससे स्थिति और भी गंभीर हो गई।,इस घटना के बाद स्वजन ने अस्पताल परिसर में हंगामा किया और चिकित्सकों पर लापरवाही का आरोप लगाया। नगर पुलिस ने मौके पर पहुंचकर आक्रोशित स्वजनों को शांत कराया। सदर अस्पताल में यह पहली बार नहीं है जब ऐसी घटना हुई है। पहले भी कई मौतें हो चुकी हैं, लेकिन जांच समितियों की रिपोर्ट कभी सार्वजनिक नहीं हुई।,इस मामले में सिविल सर्जन डा. जितेंद्र नाथ सिंह ने कहा कि प्रसव कक्ष में तैनात कर्मियों को हटा दिया गया है और जांच के लिए एक समिति का गठन किया गया है। लापरवाही बरतने वाले चिकित्सकों और नर्सों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई की जाएगी।,सहरसा के बसनही थाना क्षेत्र के महुआ सिंगारपुर वार्ड संख्या 11 में बुधवार को सर्पदंश से एक 10 वर्षीय बालक की मौत हो गई। स्वजन ने बताया कि चंदन विश्वास का पुत्र बाबुल कुमार सुबह करीब आठ बजे अपने घर में खेलने का सामान खोज रहा था। उसी दौरान उसकी अंगुली में जहरीले सांप ने डंस लिया। जैसे ही स्वजन को इसकी जानकारी मिली, वे तुरंत बच्चे को झाड़-फूंक कराने ले गए।,झाड़-फूंक करवाकर बच्चे को उन्होंने घर में छोड़ दिया। इसके बाद लोग मवेशी का चारा काटने चले गए। जब दोपहर एक बजे मवेशी का चारा लेकर लोग घर आए तो बच्चा घर में बेहोशी हालत में पड़ा था। अस्पताल ले जाने के दौरान उसकी मौत हो गई। मृतक के पिता मजदूरी करने पंजाब गए हुए हैं। मृतक दो भाई व दो बहनों में सबसे बड़ा था। थानाध्यक्ष कुलवंत कुमार ने बताया कि जहरीले सांप के काटने से बच्चे की मौत की सूचना मिली है। जांच कर आगे की कार्रवाई की जा रही है।。    Colombo, Oct 11 (UNI) Travel and tour operators in India have pledged support to help Sri Lanka's tourism industry to move towards the positive growth trajectory.
The Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI) said it would by no means back out from selling destination Sri Lanka in India, the Daily FT newspaper reported on Tuesday.
Speaking to Mirror Business, TAAI President Jyoti Mayal said the Indian travel and tour agents were of the view that Sri Lanka must and should be supported as it attempts to brave through the series of challenges it has faced in the recent months.
“Sri Lanka, I feel, deserves to be supported as it is a country worth visiting. Not only value for money but it is a country that relates to our Indian culture, history, religion and has the most wonderful forms of entertainment," she said.
"Every crisis brings multiple opportunities and surely, Sri Lanka with the TAAI’s support will revive quickly and more effectively,” she said.
Asked about the possibility of moving to another host country to facilitate the 60th TAAI convention, Mayal said the association was keen and determined to bring its convention to Sri Lanka as planned, the daily reported.
Industry sources shared that following the decision to postpone the event that was to be held in November this year, it is likely for the convention to take place within the first quarter of 2023. The dates are yet to be confirmed.
India is currently the largest tourist traffic generator for Sri Lanka and authorities are increasing its focus on the neighbouring country to increase tourist arrivals to the country, the report said.
Arrivals from India are expected to improve in the coming months as India’s Spicejet will resume services to Colombo from November 15. Plans are afoot to also introduce a cruise from Pondicherry.
